As a freelance IT copywriter, I’ve written case studies, brochures, fact sheets, blog posts and numerous websites – including search engine optimised copy.
Clients have included big names such as Microsoft, Dell and IBM, along with small businesses such as IT consultants and microbusinesses.
Technical copywriting – bringing out the benefits
Whether your audience is an ordinary consumer or an IT manager, the purpose of what I write is the same: to inform, to persuade and to convert the reader into becoming a customer.
Your IT products or services will have certain advantages. They’re faster, more powerful, more reliable, more secure, easier to use, more cost-effective and so on.
It’s my job to identify those benefits and to make your product or service look great to whoever might benefit from it. Which usually means writing in terms that non-technical audiences will understand.
